The Chouenneux Trail is an easy, 2.5 km (1.6 mi) loop trail that includes interpretation panels, benches, a covered bridge and other sites along the way. Departure points include Chemin des Coudriers, Hotel du Capitaine and Auberge La Coudriere. Trail is open year round but is not maintained in the winter.

Today, the loop stretches 256.4 km and is comprised of 16 municipalities. The circuit offers specific paths, designated roadways and paved shoulders and is designed for experienced and beginner cyclists. The main office is located in Alma, where maps and other souvenirs may be obtained. Luggage transportation service is available.
